The Soul Show is on WZUM
The Soul Show is hosted and produced by Michael Canton. The Soul Show airs Saturdays, 2-5pm, just after the MCG Jazz Spotlight Show.
The Soul Show presents decades of R&B, jazz fusion and other related genres in its weekly mix. It is a natural extension of WZUM’s rich jazz mission.

Marty Ashby features top tracks from the Jazz Week charts, highlighting some of the most played jazz recordings on radio stations across the country.
Among the featured recordings are Max Leake’s Threads and the WDR Big Band’s Bluegrass, both earning significant radio play nationwide and showcasing the depth of the MCG Jazz Record Label catalog. Also on the charts, the Reid Hoyson project and trombonist Reggie Watkins.
